Founder / CEO

Leyva Palomino is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Novus Maintenance Group, a proudly women-owned and minority-owned company built on integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. As a first-generation business leader, Leyva brings a unique combination of hands-on industry knowledge, executive leadership experience, and entrepreneurial vision to the company’s continued growth and success.

Her passion for business began at an early age while watching her parents operate their own small maintenance and janitorial company. Growing up around the industry gave her firsthand insight into the dedication, sacrifice, and work ethic required to build a successful business from the ground up. Those early experiences shaped the leadership values she carries today — accountability, reliability, strong relationships, and pride in delivering quality service.

Leyva began her professional career in customer service, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, client relations, and problem-solving. Through determination and leadership, she advanced into administrative and operational roles before ultimately serving in executive-level positions as an Executive Administrator. Her experience working alongside leadership teams in fast-paced professional environments strengthened her expertise in operations management, business development, organizational strategy, and client support.

She also attended California State University, East Bay, where she further developed the business and leadership skills that continue to support her professional journey. Combining her educational background with years of corporate and operational experience, Leyva founded Novus Maintenance Group with a clear mission: to build a company that not only delivers exceptional janitorial and maintenance services, but also creates opportunities for women, minorities, and future entrepreneurs to succeed.

Driven by her strong belief in family, loyalty, and community, Leyva chose to build Novus Maintenance Group alongside those closest to her, transforming a lifelong dream into a growing family-operated business. Under her leadership, the company continues to focus on professionalism, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships throughout the communities it serves.

Beyond her role as CEO, Leyva is a devoted wife, mother of two, and proud dog mom. She credits her family as the inspiration behind everything she builds and remains committed to creating a lasting legacy centered on hard work, opportunity, and empowerment for future generations.

Jocelyn Reyes

Co-Founder / Chief Operating Officer

Jocelyn Reyes is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Novus Maintenance Group, Jocelyn Reyes is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Novus Maintenance Group, a proudly women-owned and minority-owned business — and her very first venture as an entrepreneur. Alongside her sister and CEO, Leyva Palomino, Jocelyn is turning a shared family dream into reality, inspired by the values and work ethic their parents instilled through their own small maintenance and janitorial business.

Jocelyn's career was built on fundamentals that make great operators: years in customer service and administrative roles sharpened her people skills and attention to detail, with experience as an office manager where she kept day-to-day operations running with precision and care. She brings that same disciplined, hands-on approach to Novus, where she oversees operations, develops internal systems, and helps position the business for long-term growth.

Beyond her professional life, Jocelyn is a devoted wife, mother, and proud dog mom. Her family is at the heart of everything she does, and it continues to fuel the vision she and her sister are building together — creating not only a successful business, but a lasting legacy for future generations.

Nelly Reyes

Founder / Member

Nelly Reyes is a Founder and Member of Novus Maintenance Group — and the woman whose story made this business possible. After immigrating from Peru to the United States in pursuit of opportunity, Nelly built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and an unwavering entrepreneurial drive. Roughly 15 to 20 years ago, she founded and ran her own janitorial business, planting the seeds that her daughters, Leyva and Jocelyn, would one day grow into Novus Maintenance Group.

Her entrepreneurial journey didn't stop there. Nelly went on to launch an Alpaca Fashion a Peruvian clothing e-commerce brand and built a loyal following as a market vendor across the Bay Area, sharing pieces of her culture with every customer she met. Each venture reflected the same instinct that has guided her from the beginning: spot the opportunity, work harder than anyone, and never lose sight of family.

Today, Nelly serves as a Founding Member and trusted partner at Novus, where her decades of experience, sharp business intuition, and quiet leadership continue to shape the company her daughters now lead. For Leyva and Jocelyn, she isn't just a co-founder — she's the inspiration behind everything Novus stands for.

Ernesto Orozco

Member / VP Field Operations

Ernesto Orozco is a minority member and Vice President of Operations at Novus Maintenance Group, bringing more than a decade of retail management and operational leadership experience to the company. Beginning his career as a retail sales associate, Ernesto quickly advanced into management roles through his strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and commitment to customer service. Over the years, he successfully grew from leading a team of seven associates to managing teams of more than 30 employees in high-volume, customer-facing environments.

His experience overseeing daily operations, merchandising, inventory management, and staff development has given him a strong foundation in building efficient teams and delivering exceptional client experiences. Ernesto is especially recognized for his professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work closely with both employees and clients to ensure satisfaction on every level while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

In addition to his role with Novus Maintenance Group, Ernesto currently serves as Office Manager for a real estate investment group in San Francisco, where he continues to strengthen his expertise in administration, operations, and organizational leadership. He also attended Skyline College, further developing the business and communication skills that support his professional growth.

As part of a family-owned business, Ernesto takes great pride in helping grow a women-owned and minority-owned company built on integrity, hard work, and long-term relationships. He is committed to supporting the company’s vision while preserving the values that make Novus Maintenance Group unique.

Outside of work, Ernesto is an avid golfer and devoted family man. He is proudly married to COO Jocelyn Orozco, and his dedication to family, teamwork, and service continues to guide both his personal and professional life.

Armando Palomino

Member / VP Business Development

Armando Palomino serves as Vice President of Business Development for Novus Maintenance Group, bringing a strong background in business operations, client relations, and entrepreneurship. Raised in the small Central Valley town of Gustine, California, Armando learned the value of hard work at an early age while working in the agricultural fields throughout his youth.

Driven to create greater opportunities, he later moved to the Bay Area to attend San Jose State University, where he continued building his passion for business and leadership. Over the years, Armando has worked with a wide range of organizations including technology companies, investment firms, banks, accounting firms, and venture capital groups, gaining valuable experience across multiple industries and professional environments.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a minority member of Novus Maintenance Group, where he is now focused on helping grow and scale the family business alongside his wife, CEO Leyva Palomino. After years of helping build businesses for others, Armando is dedicated to creating long-term success for his own family and company.

In addition to his role at Novus Maintenance Group, Armando also operates an audiovisual production company specializing in golf tournaments and corporate events. An avid golfer, devoted family man, and business leader, he brings passion, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every partnership and project.

Tito Reyes

Tito Reyes serves as a Minority Member, Field Operator, and Advisor at Novus Maintenance Group, bringing decades of hands-on business ownership, operational leadership, and customer service experience to the team.

Before joining Novus Maintenance Group, Tito successfully owned and operated a janitorial business alongside his wife for many years, building a strong reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and personalized client service. Through his previous company, he provided janitorial and night porter services to commercial buildings throughout the Bay Area, gaining extensive experience in facility upkeep, tenant support, and maintaining high standards in professional environments.

His entrepreneurial background also includes co-owning and managing a travel agency for more than 15 years, where he developed extensive experience in customer relations, operations management, and long-term client partnerships.

In addition to his business ventures, Tito helped launch a specialty apparel store focused on products crafted from premium alpaca wool, reflecting his Peruvian heritage and appreciation for quality craftsmanship and culture.

Today, Tito continues to support Novus Maintenance Group through advisory guidance and field operations support. His decades of experience, strong work ethic, and commitment to service excellence help ensure every client receives dependable, professional service and lasting results.
